VOTE APRIL 1st
product of waukesha schools running for waukesha schools
I am the only candidate who has attended Waukesha schools in the last 2 decades. This firsthand experience gives me a unique understanding of classroom management, insights into our curriculum, support systems and learning tools from a student's perspective, as well as an in-depth knowledge of our community. I am prepared to lead from day one and work diligently for all families.
I DON’T HAVE KIDS IN THE DISTRICT. WHY SHOULD I CARE?
The Waukesha School Board is responsible for levying property taxes, passing district & board policies, and being the bridge between district administration and families. This election, is about more than just about our classrooms— it’s about property taxes and property values, and building a strong community around strong public schools.— whether or not you have kids in our district, or whether or not you own your home— a community is built around its schools— and stronger schools, build stronger communities.
What are you running to accomplish? Why should i vote for you?
I am running to restore balance, accountability, transparency and leadership back to our Board of Education. Right now, our district is facing a decade-long structural budget deficit, numerous high school classes are using outdated textbooks and curriculums, and our current school board dissolved our personalized learning programs at the Middle School level. We need a leader who will be fiscally responsible, accountable to our community, and will stand up for our schools. I am running to be that leader, and that is why I am asking for your vote.
the climate of education right now is very political and polarizing. are you running for a political agenda?
No! That is the exact opposite of what folks running for School Board should set out to accomplish. The simple fact is, you cannot pick and choose the students, parents, or families you represent on the Waukesha School Board— so when you make decisions, they have to be rooted in what’s best for our district, and all of our students— not just a select group of them. I am not running to push a political agenda of either swing, I am running to do the right thing, take on the hard fights, and lead with courage. I can’t promise a single person, that we’ll agree on every issue. But what I can promise, is that unlike others, I will always listen first, then lead. I will be accountable to my community. The way it should be.
